T'Was The Night After Christmas

And all through the house, not a creature was stirring, except for me sitting at my comp while talking on the phone...

It seems that last week Santa must have been eager,
preparing many gifts, a load in no way meager...
Quantity no problem, but what could it all be?
GAP clothes? ... shaving cream? ... A James Taylor CD?!

So yeah, my last Christmas at home, and I've officially decided that my parents don't have a clue how to buy for me. It's the thought that counts though, and while it sounds like some cookie-cutter TV crap, it's basically the truth. I got a few good things... Call of Duty 3, this half-decent pair of jeans (Other than that, it's like they cleaned out the old back-rooms), my brother and I are splitting a $300 gift card to get a Wii, only too bad that they won't be in stock for months to come.

It was a little unsettling to know that most of my aunts/uncles didn't know where Stanford is, I just had to enlighten the lot of them... made for some good small talk, which is a blessing seeing as how they're all so boring ^_^;

Went out in the annual cousins Hold 'Em game with a Queen-Ten diamonds, no regrets there. Just quarters anyway. January 1st seems so much closer on this side of Christmas, and this last week will likely fly by, but no biggie.

So he crossed "t"s and dotted "i"s as he typed himself out of sight...
